2 killed, others kidnapped in Lokoja, Kogi State
Two persons have been killed and many others kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kogi State.
DAILY POST reliably gathered that one of the deceased victims identified as Nicholas Ofodile owns a supermarket in Lokoja. Ofodile met his untimely death during a gun duel between the armed bandit and men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, who attempted to rescue him. The incident according to DAILY POST sources occurred along Gegu/Koton Karfe in Kogi Local Government of the state on Wednesday between 12noon to 1pm.
The source hinted that the suspected armed bandits were operating freely but were later intercepted by SARS.
