Two people were injured after a bus on EDSA carousel caught fire in Makati City on Sunday night, Jan. 29.
According to DZBB report, the bus driver, Roel Salarsa, claimed that he first saw smoke and then flames on the bus, prompting him to stop the vehicle and immediately open the door to let the passengers get off the bus.A representative from the bus company said that all the passengers were brought to the hospital, and the company will shoulder their medical expenses.
The Bureau of Fire Protection-Makati City said it is still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
