According to Abdullahi, the accident which involved two commercial vehicles, occurred in Zakirai town, along the Kano-Ringim road in Gabasawa LGA of the state at about 8:35 pm on Friday.“We received a call about the accident at about 8:35 p.m. on Friday and dispatched our personnel to the scene to rescue the victims,” NAN quoted Abdullahi as saying.
The sector commander said some of the corpses were given mass burial at the accident scene, while others were handed over to their relatives.He added that the injured victims were taken to the Murtala Mohammed General Hospital in Kano for treatment.
