The Federal Road Safety Corp Bauchi State has confirmed 17 people dead in two separate fatal crashes that occurred in the State on Monday. The Sector Commander, Yusuf Abdullahi, said that 17 others sustained various degrees of injuries in crashes that involved 35 people. According to him, the first crash occurred at Manaba Village…The Federal Road Safety Corp Bauchi State has confirmed 17 people dead in two separate fatal crashes that occurred in the State on Monday.

“There was a fatal crash at Manaba Village, along Zaki-Gamawa road involving a commercial bus, a white Toyota Hummer, with registration number: KTG 13XF belonging to Himma Express. “It was at the hospital that a medical doctor confirmed 11 people, two male adults and nine female adults. Those who suffered various degrees of injuries are 13 in number, comprising three male adults and 10 female adults,” he said.

According to him, the crash was caused by overspeeding, adding that there were 10 adults, eight male adults and two female adults involved in the incident.
