At least 16 people have been killed on Thursday morning in an accident on a highway in Awae, a locality of Cameroon’s Central region.
The police gave the confirmation of the deaths and said the accident occurred when a 70-seater passenger bus collided with a truck loaded with logs on the Yaounde-Bertoua highway.At least 30 people who were injured in the accident were rushed to a local hospital, local authorities said.
