Some 15 cases have confirmed positive for Yellow fever in Bauchi after an outbreak of the disease was reported.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency are responding to the outbreak, focusing on residents and recent visitors to Alkaleri Local Government Area in Bauchi State.The 15 confirmed cases come from 169 clinically suspected cases as at the 11th of September 2019.Further testing of samples is going on at the NCDC National Reference Laboratory, Abuja.
