The Kaduna State government yesterday said the first session of the 10th Assembly of the Kaduna State House of Assembly will hold today in the Parliament
This came after the dissolution of the 9th Assembly on Thursday the 8th of June, 2023 by the Kaduna State governor, Sen. Uba Sani.
In a statement issued by the governor’s chief press secretary, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, he said the historic session marks a new chapter in the legislative history of Kaduna State and demonstrates the commitment of the government to uphold democratic principles and ensure good governance. He said the proclamation signifies the commencement of a new legislative session and sets forth an agenda for addressing pressing issues facing the people of Kaduna State.
The statement said Governor Sani is expected to deliver an address at the occasion, outlining his administration’s priorities for the new legislative term.
