109 stranded Nigerians in Mali arrive Lagos
The Director-General of NEMA, AVM Muhammed Muhammadu , receiving the returnees, said that they would be isolated for 14 days in Ikeja before they would reunite with their families.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the returnees, who arrived at 3.15am, comprised of 11 adult male, 89 adult female, with 4 male children and 5 female children. Muhammadu disclosed that the returnees were assisted back into Nigeria by the International Organization of Migration . He advised the returnees to be vigilant with those that promise greener pastures outside the country and make better use of their lives.
