Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State said on Friday that out of the 18 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the state, 10 were members of the same family.
They are Kaduna North, Zaria, Chikun and Sabon-Gari LGAs.
According to him, 14 of the new cases are from Kaduna North, two from Zaria and one each from Chikun and Sabon-Gari.The governor appealed to residents to adhere strictly to safety measures put in place to check the spread of the virus in the state.“14 of the new cases are from Kaduna North, two from Zaria and one each from Chikun and Sabon-Gari LGAs.The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, on Thursday, announced that 339 new cases of the viral infection have been recorded in the country.
