The Port McNeill RCMP are investigating after one driver was killed and another was seriously injured in a head-on crash near Woss on northern Vancouver Island on Thursday afternoon.
The Port McNeill RCMP are investigating after one driver was killed and another was seriously injured in a head-on crash near Woss on northern Vancouver Island.Police were called to the collision around 2:30 p.m. Based on initial reports, investigators believe that an SUV crossed into the oncoming path of a commercial semi-truck.
“Sadly, the driver of the SUV did not survive the crash,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Alex Bérubé in a release Friday.
